Coming Soon! Capital Campaign!
Annual Campaign: Our Annual Campaign raises unrestricted funds and allows us to allocate monies to areas of greatest need, helping to bridge the gap between tuition and actual costs.
Scholarship Fund: River Rock School's mission includes a commitment to serve any child who would benefit by our approach to education, regardless of ability to pay. We feel the type of education offered at River Rock School should be available to everyone who wants it. Therefore, we need a hefty Scholarship Program to support a wide socio-economic spectrum. We want our school to reflect our diverse world--not stand apart from it. When tuition costs are prohibitive for a family wishing to enroll a child, we strive to provide a scholarship.
Restricted Gifts: These gifts support specific programs or areas such as Theater, Drama, Music, the Library, etc. Contributors can designate how they would like their donation used.
Gifts-in-Kind: River Rock benefits from gifts of services, used equipment in good condition, subscriptions, books, musical instruments, office supplies, etc.
Volunteer: Volunteers have visited River Rock School to share knowledge and skills. Please contact the school if you'd like to explore this.
Other Ways to Contribute
Shaw's Community Giving Program for non-profits: River Rock School is registered with the Shaw's Community Giving Program for non-profits. When you shop at any Shaw's Grocery Store on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, Shaw's will automatically give River Rock School 1% of the sales when you use your Rewards Card. Here's how it works:
- Sign up at the Shaws Community Rewards web page.
- Select "Shoppers login or register with your Rewards Card"
- Log in with your Rewards Card Number (found below the bar code on your card or on a sales receipt) and the phone number you used when you signed up for the card
- Once you have logged in, click "Sign Me Up"
- Enter River Rock School's Community Rewards Number (#49001023368) and click "Add an Organization"
- On the "Update My Organizations" page, click "Update Now" to support River Rock School!

Boxtops and Labels: We collect Boxtops for Education and Campbell's Soup Labels for Education.
Annual Auction: Consider donating Goods or Services suitable for our Annual Silent and Called Auction. Call the school to arrange pick-up. This year's auction took place on Saturday March 28th at the Unitarian Church in Montpelier.
Annual Yardsale: Considering donating goods suitable for our Annual Yard Sale. Call the school to arrange pick up. This year's yard sale took place on Saturday, May 23rd from 8am-2pm--at the school.
Annual Perennial Sale: If you have an overabundance of bulbs, give us a call and we'll arrange for someone to dig them up and take them away!! This year's perennial sale was on Saturday May 30th from 9am-2pm at Christ Episcopal Church in Montpelier.
River Rock School is a 501c3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible. Checks should be made out to River Rock School and mailed to 252 Upper Main St., Montpelier, VT 05602.
